🚀 Getting Started

How do I download the CARROT app?

CARROT is available for free on the Apple App Store (iPhone) and Google Play Store (Android). Simply search for "CARROT Wellness" or visit our download page.

Do I need to create an account?

Yes, you'll need to create a free account to track your steps and earn rewards. You can sign up using your phone number or Apple ID. The process takes less than a minute!

How does CARROT track my steps?

CARROT uses your smartphone's built-in motion sensors to count your steps. On iPhone, we integrate with Apple HealthKit for the most accurate step counting. On Android, we use Google Fit. You don't need any additional fitness trackers!

💰 Earning & Rewards

What are Goal Coins (green) and Reward Points (yellow)?

Goal Coins (green): You earn 1 Goal Coin each day you meet your personalized step goal. These can be redeemed for gift cards and rewards.

Reward Points (yellow): You earn points for every step you take, regardless of whether you hit your daily goal. Points accumulate and can also be used for rewards.

How do I redeem my coins for rewards?

Tap the "Rewards" tab in the app to browse available gift cards from brands like Amazon, Starbucks, Target, and more. Once you have enough coins, select your reward and it will be delivered to your email within 24 hours.

What are streak requirements?

Some rewards require you to maintain a streak (consecutive days of meeting your goal) before redemption. This encourages consistent activity. Wellness program users need 3-5 day streaks depending on the reward amount. Premium users only need a 1-day streak!

How are my daily goals calculated?

CARROT uses CARROT AI to set personalized goals based on your activity history. Your goal adjusts automatically to challenge you while remaining achievable. This ensures everyone can compete fairly, from the most sedentary to the most active individuals.

🏆 Challenges & Programs

How do I join a challenge?

Tap the "Challenges" tab and browse available challenges. You can join:

  • Featured Challenges: National or sponsored challenges open to all users
  • Wellness Programs: Your company's challenges (requires join code)
  • Private Challenges: Created by friends or colleagues (requires join code)

Simply tap "Join" and follow the prompts!

What is a join code?

Join codes are 6-character codes (e.g., "ABC123") that allow you to join private challenges or wellness programs. You'll receive this code from your employer or the challenge organizer, often via email or QR code.

Can I create my own challenge?

Yes! Tap "My Moves" in the Challenges tab to create a private challenge with custom rules. You can invite friends, set the duration, and choose the challenge type. Or visit our challenge creation page for larger organizational challenges.

📱 Technical Support

My steps aren't syncing. What should I do?

iPhone users: Go to Settings → Privacy → Health → CARROT and ensure all permissions are enabled. Then open the CARROT app and pull down to refresh.

Android users: Open Google Fit, ensure it's tracking steps, then go to CARROT → Settings → Sync Now.

If issues persist, try restarting your phone and reopening the app.

I'm not receiving my daily Goal Coin. Why?

Goal Coins are awarded once per day when you meet your personalized step goal. Make sure:

  • You've reached your daily goal (check the progress bar in the app)
  • Your steps have synced (pull down to refresh)
  • You're checking at the end of the day (coins may not appear until midnight)

How do I change my email or phone number?

Open the CARROT app → Profile → Settings → Account Information. From there you can update your email, phone number, and other personal details.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Please note that this action is permanent and you will lose all your coins, points, and progress.

💳 Subscriptions & Billing

What is CARROT Premium?

CARROT Premium is our paid subscription that offers enhanced earning rates (5 coins per $1 instead of 3), reduced streak requirements (1-day instead of 3-5 days), and exclusive rewards. Visit our pricing page for details.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iPhone: Go to Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → CARROT → Cancel Subscription

Android: Open Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → CARROT → Cancel Subscription

Your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple (for iPhone) or Google (for Android). Please contact their support teams directly through your app store. We're unable to process refunds directly.

How do I set up a wellness program for my company?

Visit our Get Started page or contact our sales team to discuss your wellness program needs. We offer custom challenges, annual programs, and dedicated support for organizations of all sizes.

How much does it cost for organizations?

Pricing varies based on participant count and program duration. Walking challenges start at $162.99 for up to 25 participants. View full details on our pricing page or contact us for enterprise quotes.

Can we customize the challenges?

Yes! We offer custom branding, challenge types, duration, and rewards based on your organization's needs. Our team will work with you to create the perfect wellness experience.
